Total OB-GYN care for females of all ages and backgrounds

Comprehensive obstetrics

Dr. Miller's goal is to help you before you get pregnant, then guide you through your pregnancy with sound medical screenings, education about nutrition, healthy exercise, and more, including:

Prenatal care

A healthy pregnancy starts with good prenatal care. Prenatal care is about finding and treating problems early, helping you prevent complications, and referring you to trusted specialists if necessary.

Dr. Miller is proud to offer in-office ultrasound. She’ll monitor your developing pregnancy and give you an early peek at your baby in beautiful detail! Should 3D or 4D ultrasound be necessary, she will refer you to a trusted imaging center.

Pregnancy and delivery

Dr. Miller has the compassion and expertise to help make your pregnancy and delivery as easy as possible. She will give you regular checkups to monitor your health as well as your developing baby. You’ll receive a great education and healthy pregnancy tips along the way.

High-risk pregnancy

Dr. Miller cares for low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. It sound more ominous than it really is. There are many reasons why a pregnancy is considered high-risk. With careful management from their ob-gyn, most women with high-risk pregnancy deliver healthy babies. Many things can make pregnancy “high-risk”:

  • Alcohol, drug abuse, or smoking
  • Asthma
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • VBAC (vaginal birth after a cesarean delivery)
  • Fetal genetic conditions (Down syndrome, heart, lung, and kidney problems)
  • HIV, cytomegalovirus, chickenpox, rubella, toxoplasmosis, syphilis infections
  • Hepatitis C
  • Heart valve problems
  • High blood pressure
  • Kidney disease
  • Age under 17 or over 35
  • Previous multiple birth(s)
  • Previous miscarriage(s)
  • Problematic previous pregnancy
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Sickle cell diseases
  • Lupus
  • Use of Lithium, Dilantin, Depakene, Tegretol, or generics

Dr. Patience Miller also addresses infertility issues and has helped many previously infertile women and couples start families.
